Welcome - to the Enoggera and Districts Historical Society - Home Page. The society is a non-profit community organisation with over 100 members, consisting mostly of mature aged persons who either reside or resided in the local community, or who have an interest in the local history through their families' past ties with the district. The society attracts many visitors to it's "History Room" where there is an extensive collection of reference material both in document or photographic form. Please spend a few moments of your time viewing the other pages at this site by navigating through the links at the top of these pages - and remember to return frequently to find out What's New or just find out what we might be doing in the community.

We have a dedicated band of volunteer helpers who assist at the History Room or at the various displays we involve ourselves with throughout the year. As we do not charge for these services we depend heavily on Donations or sale of our Publications to enable us to continue our community service.

If you would like to make a donation; may be able to contribute to our historical collection; would like further details on Membership, or think we may be able to assist you in some way, please contact us by post, phone or email or come to the History Room during opening hours - we would enjoy your company.
